Editor's review
Blank page removing tool.
When creating PDF documents by scanning of existing documents, lots of blank pages get generated. Removing these unintended blanks could be quite tedious manually. Opening the documents one by one and reviewing the pages and then removing the blank ones is not only time consuming, it is error prone too. This PDF Page Remover detects & deletes scanned PDF files one by one and creates a report of the deleted page(s). To avoid any mistakes whatsoever, these pages marked for removal could be backed up. Program is fully automatic. It scans the complete PDF document page by page. The way blanks are detected is to scan the page for total number of non-blank pixels. If this is below a threshold, a blank page is detected and can be removed. The process of detection and removal is quite quick.
In addition to this, you can define the page margins. This is a necessary feature as documents often have perforations and other marks on the edges that may falsely register a page as non-blank. Specifying margin helps the tool to ignore such artefacts. This handy tool is capable of handling large and bulk PDF files in a single batch process. You can also define custom page ranges (such as5, 7, 12-17…etc.) to be removed from the PDF. The tool is compatible with Windows including the latest version 8; both 32 bit and 64 bit versions. The interface is simple and most users should be able to get going very quickly. There is no need for any special skills. This is a good product.
